ECPI College of Technology is an on-campus (Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina) and online private college providing degree and diploma programs and graduate employment services. Information Technology certification training is also available.

• Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
  ECPI College of Technology is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097 or 404-679-4500) to award Bachelor of Science, Associate of Science, and Associate of Applied Science degrees.
• North Carolina State Board of Community Colleges
  In North Carolina, ECPI is licensed by the North Carolina State Board of Community Colleges to award diplomas. The North Carolina State Board of Community Colleges is not an accrediting agency.
• Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina
  ECPI is licensed by the Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina to award Associate degrees.
• State Council of Higher Education
  In Virginia, ECPI has a Certificate to Operate an Institution of Higher Education issued by the State Council of Higher Education. This Certificate authorizes ECPI to offer degrees, courses for degree credit, or programs of study leading to a degree.
• South Carolina Commission of Higher Education
  In South Carolina, ECPI is licensed by the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education to award Associate of Applied Science degrees and diplomas (1333 Main St. #200, Columbia, SC 29201-3245, 803-737-2260). Licensure indicates only that minimum standards have been met; it is not equivalent to or synonymous with accreditation by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Department of Homeland Security
  The College is approved for the training of veterans and other eligible persons. ECPI is also an eligible institution to train students under the sponsorship of the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. The College is authorized under Federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students by the Department of Homeland Security, Bureau of Customs and Border Protection.
• Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools
  The Medical Assisting program has programmatic accreditation with the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools in Virginia, North Carolina and Charleston, South Carolina.
• Virginia Board of Nursing
  The Department of Health Professions, Virginia Board of Nursing has approved Practical Nursing (PN) and Registered Nursing (RN) programs at the Newport News and Virginia Beach campuses. A Practical Nursing (PN) program is approved at the Northern Virginia campus.
• North Carolina Board of Nursing
  ECPI campuses in Raleigh and Charlotte have been granted approval for a Practical Nursing education program by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• North Carolina Board of Massage & Bodywork Therapy
  The Raleigh campus has a Board Approval for a Massage Therapy diploma program.
• South Carolina Board of Nursing
  The South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, South Carolina Board of Nursing has granted approval status for a Practical Nursing (PN) program at the Greenville Campus.
