NUR230 Role Transition/Nursing Leadership

This course focuses upon continued professional development Ethical-legal aspects of practical nursing, employment opportunities and responsibilities, as well as preparation for the NCLEX-PN are included.  Coordinated experiences in the long-term health care setting allow the student to more fully integrate the role of the Licensed Practical Nurse.  Upon successful course completion, students will be able to apply practical nursing responsibilities as legally defined to his/her clinical practice.
