Six ECPI Students Awarded Imagine American Promise Scholarships

The Imagine America Promise scholarship program assists students who are currently attending participating Imagine America colleges by way of the Imagine America high school scholarship. It is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing scholarships for education, research and training support for the career college sector.

With exceptional grades to show a commitment to their program of study, The Imagine America Promise scholarship provides $500 cash grants towards student’s schooling.

In Richmond, six ECPI University students were selected to receive the 2010 Imagine America Promise Scholarship.  These students are:

  • Shantelle Giles, ECPI – Innsbrook,  Bachelor of Science in CIS Web Development
  • Denina Jackson , ECPI – Innsbrook, Bachelor of Science in CIS Web Development
  • Charles Kratzert, ECPI – Innsbrook, Bachelor of Science in CIS Network Security
  • Israel Velazquez III, ECPI – Innsbrook, Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology
  • Kiera Hardy, ECPI – Moorefield, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
  • Sam Walker, ECPI – Moorefield, Bachelor of Science in CIS Web Development

To date, the Foundation has provided nearly $600,000 in grants, which have supported more than 700 continuing career college students.
