“ECPI University helped prepare me for my current career field through its
PLC and Industrial Technology classes. My main responsibility is to program
and maintain all Programmable Logic Controller devices which include
automated welding cells, conveyers lines, electric torque guns, and automated
rivet machines. I am also responsible for general robotic programming for
welding machines, Vision System software, and all electrical preventative
maintenance. Since theMidwest is still very big in the manufacturing industry,
I was able to land a great paying career almost immediately after graduation
and move back to my home state as well. The advanced work I do is directly
related to everything I was taught in myMechatronics course material.”
