written a chapter for

Behavior of Composite Materi-

entitled “The Structure of
Ventral Scale Textures in Snakes
in Comparison to Texturing of
Deterministic Tribological Sur-
faces.” He will also make a presentation – Fractal Structure
of Snake Skin – at the Tenth Arnold Tross Kolloquium in
Hamburg, Germany. Later in the summer, he travels to South
America to deliver two lectures at the National University of
Colombia.

Bluemling’s book provides a

from childhood abuse.
Dr. Paul Nussbaum,
Director of
Academic Affairs at the Rich-
mond/Moorefield Campus, has
been elevated to the grade of
Senior Member with the Insti-
tute of Electrical and Electronics
Engineers (IEEE), the highest
professional grade which reflects
an advanced level of experi-
ence and professional matu-
rity. Less than 8 percent of the
organization , s 400,000 members have achieved this level.
