The Navy College for Afloat College Education
(NCPACE) program is designed for Navy personnel
assigned to AFLOAT Commands. If qualified, you
can take college credit courses, with tuition
paid by the Navy. Book costs are the covered
by the student. ECPI provides Computer Based
Training (CBT) courses to Navy personnel assigned
to commands with Afloat Unit Identification Codes
(UIC).
The intent of the program is for Navy personnel to
participate in the program from their respective
commands. However, due to advances in technology,
and to make the courses available to as many personnel
as possible, participants can take classes from locations
remotely. However, courses should not be taken on
the campuses of participating colleges and Universities.
ECPI offers several courses from which participants
may choose. All ECPI NCPACE courses are CBT based
courses designed to support the mobile nature of
a military career and are designed to prepare individuals
for Industry Certification while earning credit toward
a formal college degree.

Sailors can utilize the credits they earn from NCPACE
to earn a degree. Many of the participating Colleges
and Universities have created degree roadmaps which
identify how their authorized NCPACE courses can
lead to degree program completion. Participating
Colleges and Universities are also part of the Servicemembers
Opportunity College (SOC) network, and have agreed
to accept each others credits for relevant degree
programs. This action significantly enhances the
opportunity of degree program completion for participating
Navy personnel.
As is the case with all Navy College Programs sailors
should first talk to their Educational Services Officer,
or designated Navy College Office Representative.
An NCPACE Coordinator is located at ALL Navy College
Offices. Sailors should ask to see current list of
available courses offered by ECPI College of Technology.
Details for registration will be provided by the
NCPACE Coordinator. Navy personnel can also contact
ECPI directly via email or
call ECPI's NCPACE Program Coordinator at 866-660-8996.
