This course introduces the foundations of paramedic practice. Topics include the Roles and Responsibilities of the Paramedic, EMS Systems, Workforce Safety and Wellness, EMS Research, the Role of EMS in Public Health, Medical Legal issues, Medical Ethics, Communication Principles and Documentation.
