# ENG109 College Composition

**Course Description:** This course is designed to improve student writing processes, develop critical thinking skills, and provide instruction in core skills required for academic and professional writing in different modes. Students will learn how to analyze the writing strategies of professional authors and apply these strategies to their own writing.

**Credit Hours:** 1.50
