Paying for college is an important part of planning your education. ECPI University’s Financial Aid team can help you understand your financial aid options and guide you through the application process. Financial aid may be available to those who qualify.
Apply for Financial Aid
Please take the time to read: Financial Assistance Office Code of Conduct. Follow these steps to apply for federal student aid.
- Create or Access Your StudentAid.gov Account
Log in or create your StudentAid.gov account to complete federal student aid forms and manage your Federal Student Aid information. - Complete the FAFSA
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at StudentAid.gov. When completing your FAFSA, use ECPI University’s school code: 010198. - Complete Entrance Counseling
If required, complete federal student loan entrance counseling at StudentAid.gov. - Complete Your Master Promissory Note
If you are borrowing federal student loans, complete your Master Promissory Note at StudentAid.gov. - Review the Annual Student Loan Acknowledgement
Federal Student Aid encourages borrowers to complete the Annual Student Loan Acknowledgement each year they accept a new Direct Loan.

Financial Aid for Veterans and Military-Affiliated Students
Eligible veterans, service members, and military-affiliated students may have access to education benefits through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or other military education programs.

Exit Counseling for Graduates
Federal student loan borrowers are required to complete exit counseling when they graduate, leave school, or drop below half-time enrollment. Exit counseling provides information about federal student loan repayment, repayment plans, and borrower responsibilities.
Complete exit counseling through StudentAid.gov.
Additional Payment Options
Additional options may be available to help cover education costs not met by financial aid.
Payment Plans
ECPI University offers payment plan options that may allow eligible students to pay certain education costs over time.
Private Student Loans
Private lenders may offer student loans to help cover education expenses. Rates, fees, eligibility requirements, and repayment terms vary by lender. Visit ECPI University’s Private Student Loans page for more information.
