ECPI University’s Richmond/Moorefield campus is located on the south side of Richmond and is easily accessible from anywhere in Chesterfield County, sitting less than one mile from the intersection of Midlothian Turnpike (VA60) and Powhite Parkway (VA76). The campus offers scenic tranquility with ponds, wildlife, shade trees, and very limited traffic flow.

The moment you step on campus, you can see tell there’s something special going on. Students are highly-involved in campus activities of all sorts. They raise money for charity, participate in unique learning exercises, and always manage to make it fun for everyone involved. Here are some of the clubs and organizations you can join once you enroll:

  • National Technical Honor Society
  • Networking Club
  • Web Club
  • Electronics Engineering Technology Club
  • Criminal Justice Club
  • Business Club
  • Student Newspaper
  • Student Advisory Council
  • Student Veterans of America

Off campus, ECPI University maintains a number of strategic partnerships with employers that can help you succeed both as a student and graduate. These employers sit on advisory boards that help shape curriculum, making it both timely and relevant.

You are likely to recognize many of the companies we work with. They include Media General, VDOT, the City of Richmond, Delta Pure, Flexicell, Inc., Reibsamen Web Solutions, Foxconn/eCMM Services, Inc., Allied Barton Security Group, MeadWestvaco,

Riverside Regional Jail, and Chesterfield Police. Many of them also attend our frequently-held career fairs, looking to meet upcoming graduates.

We also offer a special opportunity to students attending Chesterfield County Public Schools. Our dual-enrollment agreement allows high school students to attend select classes, earn college credit, and professional certifications all before they graduate. By combining that with their own AP classes and ECPI University’s accelerated schedule, these young people can finish college and be on the job long before most of their classmates.

Students, faculty, and staff are also very active in the community, supporting causes like the American Red Cross, Food Bank, Girls Get IT, Freedom House, Goodwill, Ronald McDonald House, Christmas Angel, NRHS “LemonAid” Stand, and Act Out Mentoring, Children’s Miracle Network, and Tutoring, to name just a few.
