Externship Program

The culinary externship is a unique opportunity for students to gain “real world” experience in a mentored environment. Students can gain culinary experience by working in a restaurant, hotel, club, or other food service operation. The educational objectives of an externship are as follows:

  • Enhance student’s cooking skills and techniques
  • Broaden the student’s view of the food service industry
  • Expose the student to the skills and knowledge of industry professionals
