ECPI University Relocates Greensboro Campus to New High Point Facility
ECPI University has moved its Greensboro campus to a new 55,000 square-foot facility in High Point, North Carolina. The Greensboro campus has been part of the community since 1988. Across our three North Carolina locations, we serve roughly 1,500 students and graduate about 750 each year into the state’s workforce.
The larger space gives the campus room to grow its healthcare and technology programs and better serve students across the Triad region. Updated labs, industry-current equipment, and learning environments built to reflect real workplace settings are central to what the new facility offers students.
The Triad Business Journal, which covers business and economic development across the Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point metro area, covered the move in a recent article.
Why Did ECPI University Move Its Greensboro Campus to High Point?
The decision came after years of evaluating what would best serve students, employer partners, and the broader Triad community going forward.
Proximity to the regional healthcare system was a significant consideration. The new campus puts ECPI University closer to partners including Cone Health, Novant Health, and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, which provide students with clinical placements, externship opportunities, and in some cases tuition assistance.
Those relationships are central to how ECPI University connects education to employment, particularly for the adult learners who make up most of its student body.
What Programs Are Offered at the New High Point Campus?
The campus continues to offer programs in nursing, health science, technology, and engineering, with practical nursing remaining the most enrolled program by a wide margin.
Around 180 students are currently enrolled in the practical nursing program alone, a 15-month pathway that prepares students for foundational patient care roles working alongside registered nurses and licensed physicians. The demand reflects broader regional and national trends in healthcare hiring.
Looking ahead, campus leadership is focused on expanding into additional health science areas such as medical assisting, as well as programs tied to artificial intelligence, as those fields continue to grow in relevance to both students and employers.
The new High Point campus is now open and enrolling students. To learn more about programs, admissions, and how to get started, visit the campus location page.
