About the Area
Atlanta is the economic center of the Southeast and one of the country's major technology hubs. The metro area has drawn a deep base of software, cybersecurity, and engineering employers, along with a growing startup community that adds to the region's economic strength.
Cobb County, just northwest of the city, is one of the largest and most active parts of Metro Atlanta. It blends residential neighborhoods with business districts, retail, and destinations like The Battery Atlanta.
Technology drives much of the region's momentum, making Atlanta a strong backdrop for careers in the field.
About the Campus
The Atlanta campus is located in Cobb County in the Vinings area and marks ECPI University's first campus in Georgia. It brings the university's hands-on, career-focused approach to one of the largest metro areas in the Southeast.
Just off I-285 and close to MARTA rail, the campus is easy to reach for students commuting from Marietta, Sandy Springs, Lawrenceville, Decatur, and other communities across Metro Atlanta. Its position on the northwest side of the metro places students near the business districts and technology employers that shape the regional economy.

Hands-on Degree Programs
The Atlanta campus focuses on technology, with programs built around the skills that regional employers rely on.
Students drawn to software and digital systems can pursue our Cyber and Information Security Technology program, covering network defense and systems protection for careers in cybersecurity.
For those who prefer hardware and hands-on machine work, our Electronics Engineering Technology and Mechatronics programs cover circuitry, automation, and the systems behind modern manufacturing.
Across both areas, students have access to spaces set up for hands-on instruction, including:
- Cyber and Networking Lab – A dedicated space for building and securing networks, monitoring live traffic, and working through real-world cybersecurity scenarios.
- Electronics and Mechatronics Lab – Equipped with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, and diagnostic tools for testing and troubleshooting automated systems.
Campus Life
Being part of a growing campus, students have the chance to connect with peers who share an interest in technology and shape the community around them.
- eSports Team – Students can try out for the Rams, ECPI University's collegiate gaming team, to represent the university and compete in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC).
- Honors Societies – The Golden Key International Honour Society recognizes academic achievement and offers access to networking and leadership opportunities.
