General Business Management Degree Concentration Overview

The General Business Management concentration is designed to help students strengthen core business competencies while developing practical skills they can apply across a wide range of industries. Coursework emphasizes strategic thinking, effective communication, problem-solving, and the ability to adapt to changing business needs. Students are encouraged to explore how leadership, teamwork, and technology contribute to organizational success and long-term growth.

The General Business Management concentration features four degree tracks that students can choose from:

  • Human Resources Management: Learn practices to support and motivate a diverse, multicultural workforce.
  • Leadership: Focus on creating environments that foster change, innovation, and strategic decision-making.

Through ECPI’s year-round accelerated schedule, students can earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a concentration in General Business Management in as few as 2.5 years.

Students will be given an opportunity to explore workforce communities and demographics to develop strategies that maximize skills and abilities of a diverse workforce.

Program Requirements

To receive the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, students must earn 121 semester credit hours. The program requires a minimum of 8 semesters, which is equivalent to 30 months or 120 weeks of instruction. Students will select one of the tracks available under this program.
