Course Description: Through readings, case analysis, research, and classroom activities, students will learn the skills and theories involved in the human resource management of a business. Topics include selecting, training, appraising, and compensation of the workforce. The laws and rules that govern human resource functions and procedures, including labor laws, governmental regulations, and societal implications will be included in the course.
