Citrix Systems Announces Expansion, 400 New Jobs in Raleigh

ECPI University Cloud Computing and Cyber and Network Security Graduates Ready to Apply

Citrix Systems has announced it will be expanding its presence in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina, with plans to hire 400 new employees over the next five years. An American multinational software company that provides server, application and desktop virtualization, networking, software as a service, and cloud computing technologies, Citrix will invest an additional $5 million in capital expenditures as part of this expansion.

In a news report by the News & Observer, it was stated that the average salary for the new jobs is expected to be greater than $73,000, far higher than the region’s average annual wage of $52,315. Citrix executive Jesse Lipson says the company’s success in attracting talented employees was the overriding factor in the decision to expand in Raleigh. ECPI University's Raleigh campus might have been one of these factors.
