New Medical Assisting & Technology Certifications at ECPI University

In a message to students at the beginning of the year, ECPI University President Mark Dreyfus challenged them with these words:
"Work with your program department chair to identify professional certifications that you can earn during your program. At ECPI University, we offer more than 100 different certifications and offer preparation to help students get industry recognition of skill levels. There has never been a better time to graduate with the advance skills that ECPI University offers."

Since then, the University's commitment to industry-relevant certifications has only grown.

  • Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA)

"These certifications can be essential in demonstrating a student's competency, thereby affecting their marketability. We frequently hear from advisory boards and employers that when reviewing candidates, certifications are not only important, but can be the determining factor in selecting the final candidate," says Ashley Richards, Richmond Campus Director of Academic Affairs. "In some cases, employers prefer certifications over years of experience."
