Course Description: This course is designed to assist students in transition into the educational setting and to aid them in developing knowledge, skills, and strategies necessary to be successful in a nursing program. Students are introduced to the concepts of time and stress management, prioritization, study and research skills. The importance of teamwork, communication, professionalism, and the roles of the practical and registered nurse are discussed.
