Course Description: This course provides the concepts necessary for the paramedic to function safely and effectively in the prehospital setting. Topics presented are Ambulance Operations; Air Medical Operations; Incident Command System; Multiple Casualty Incident Management, National Incident Management System (NIMS) 100, 200, 700 and 800 Certifications; Rescue Awareness; Crime Scene Awareness; and Hazardous Materials Awareness.
