Course Description: This course will focus on advanced concepts of pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacotherapeutics in the direct care role of the advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) in prescribing. Students will examine pharmacologic principles across the lifespan and in various clinical practice settings with an emphasis on clinical reasoning, safe practices, and professional collaboration.
