College of Technology Applied AI Department
Course Description: This course introduces software architecture as the discipline of structuring software systems to meet business goals and quality requirements. Students learn to read and diagram existing systems, prioritize architectural characteristics, analyze trade-offs, compare the major architectural styles, and design and document an architecture using architecture decision records. AI tools draft candidate diagrams and architectures throughout, and students evaluate and revise that output against documented evidence.
