Course Description: This course involves the study of victims of crime. Students will learn the psychological and emotional detriments associated with being victimized and the classification of the types of victims. Criminological theory will be applied to address the reasons that certain victims are more attractive to offenders than others, and to examine a victim’s reaction to crime.
