Course Description: This course will explore the practical and theoretical aspects of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) in the analysis of crime. Students will learn theories related to environment criminology and spatial criminology as well as GIS applications to crime analysis from offense clustering to offender and victim geographic analysis.
