Course Description: This course presents the scope and practice of marketing principles as they are applied within healthcare delivery systems. Students will learn consumer behavior, market segmentation, SWOT analyses, and identification of new market opportunities. Assigned readings will include the role of social marketing, database research, as well as effective communication strategies involved in healthcare marketing.
