Course Description: This course will delve into the governance of long term care facilities. It will also cover human resource issues as well as marketing and public relations in this very specific area of long term care. Students will become familiar with budgeting and financial controls and the principles of reimbursement. This course will present the means of monitoring and assessing resident and responsible parties' satisfaction with the quality of care.
