Course Description: This course describes the fundamentals of thermodynamics including work and heat; the classical approach to first and second laws of thermodynamics; ideal gas, entropy, reversibility, irreversibility; and study of various processes and cycles. Students will learn the laws of thermodynamics and their applications in mechanical systems.
