Course Description: This course introduces students to the principles, strategies, and systems of quality management. Topics covered include designing quality processes, the key elements of total quality management, the six-sigma process improvement methodology (DMAIC), strategic quality planning, the voice of the customer, and quality systems. Students will apply appropriate analytical and statistical tools to manage and improve quality in processes.
