Course Description: This course focuses on the theories and applications of Management Science, quantitative analysis, decision theory, and scientific methods collectively known in the global business arena as Decision Science. Students will learn through application of a breakeven analysis, transportation models, linear forecasting, inventory forecasting and PERT/Critical Path Methods.Special emphasis will be placed on forecasting models and decision theory. Best practices for promoting workplace innovation and positive team dynamics in decision science are addressed.
