Course Description: This is the second of a two part course series that explores the physiological and pathophysiological foundations of disease. Students will examine how genetics, epidemiology, and physiology interact to influence health and disease processes. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to explain how pathophysiologic mechanisms relate to anatomy and common diseases and apply this understanding in clinical contexts.
