Course Description: This course will introduce pharmacology, focusing on the pharmacologic treatment of diseases. Students will learn about the pharmacologic treatment of diseases in the following systems: Cardiology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, and Dermatology. Upon successful course completion, students will be able to apply the principles of pharmacology and judiciously create a pharmacologic treatment plan.
