Course Description: This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles and practices of surgery and emergency medicine as they relate to the Physician Assistant’s role in patient care. Emphasis is placed on developing foundational knowledge and clinical reasoning skills necessary for the assessment, stabilization, and management of patients presenting with surgical and emergent conditions.
