Course Description: This course is designed to bridge the didactic phase of the Physician Assistant program and the upcoming clinical year. Through a combination of hands-on workshops, lectures, skill assessments, case-based discussions, and interactive review sessions, students will reinforce key competencies acquired during the didactic curriculum. Emphasis will be on performing comprehensive physical examinations, interpreting diagnostic studies, honing clinical decision-making skills, and preparing for the PA clinical student role. Topics in pathophysiology, pharmacotherapy, and professional practice will be revisited to ensure a solid foundation before entering clinical placements. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be equipped to integrate into healthcare teams and provide high-quality patient care during their clinical year and beyond.
