Course Description: This course provides an in-depth exploration of information risk management, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to analyze risk management principles, frameworks, and methodologies. Students will investigate internal and external factors that impact an organization’s risk profile, including regulatory compliance, emerging technologies, and third-party risks. The course emphasizes developing effective risk mitigation strategies, designing comprehensive risk management programs, and applying risk-based decision-making to align security initiatives with business objectives. Students will be able to assess risks, implement mitigation strategies, and support organizational security through data-driven risk management practices.
