Course Description: This course reinforces students to principles, theories and concepts that provide the foundation for nursing practice. Basic nursing skills necessary to deliver patient centered care in a multicultural society are developed. Skills related to infection control and activities of daily living are addressed. Learning opportunities are presented in the classroom and laboratory.
