Course Description: This course further expands upon the principles, theories and fundamental nursing concepts introduced in previous nursing classes. Students have opportunities to develop more advanced nursing skills and the use of critical thinking and clinical judgment needed to address the biopsychosocial needs of individuals in a multicultural society. Learning opportunities are presented in the classroom, laboratory, simulation, and in supervised clinical experiences.
