Course Description: This course prepares students for the NCLEX-RN throughanalysis of information taught during previous didactic,laboratory, simulation, and clinical coursework through theuse of lecture and computer laboratory exercises.Selected topics are reviewed, including those associatedwith nursing fundamentals, pharmacology, medical-surgicalnursing, mental health nursing, pediatrics, obstetrics, andleadership. This course provides students with asystematic plan and structured study environment inpreparation for the NCLEX-RN examination. Requirementsfor examination candidacy, application for licensure, testingprocedures, study and review techniques, and examinationtaking techniques are addressed.
