Course Description: This course focuses on the exploration of social change theories and the role of technology, as well as frameworks for community and political engagement, advocacy, and empowerment. Emphasis will be placed on the roles of key stakeholders who influence health care policy to include government, consumers, providers, and payers. Students will examine general micro & macro issues, regulatory processes and quality control and policy making at various levels of government.
