Course Description: This course focuses on the supply chain management processes used by various types of organizations, with emphasis on how logistics supports supply chain management. Topics will include forecasting, planning, supply chain design and control, sourcing and procurement, and inventory and distribution, with an emphasis on lean operations and quality control. Both manufacturing and service industries will be examined.
