BAN325 Advanced Business Analytics and AI

This course advances analytic practice with an emphasis on applied AI and sound evidence. Students design data pipelines and governance practices, test statistical assumptions, and build predictive models for managerial decisions. Coverage includes probability and distributions, hypothesis testing, correlation and evidence appraisal, and business intelligence. Students create and tune a simple neural network, compare it with baseline models, and document model iteration and versioning for a 1.0 release. The course also examines data management systems, data governance, and emerging topics such as blockchain for data integrity, with attention to ethics and responsible use.
