COR101 Freshman Orientation
The focus of this course is to assist students in developing knowledge, skills, and strategies necessary to be successful in a nursing program. Students are introduced to the concepts of time and stress management, study and research skills, prioritization, and medical terminology. The importance of teamwork, communication, professionalism, and the roles of the practical and registered nurse are discussed.
