ECPI University and Summerville Seventh Day Church Team Up for Community Education

North Charleston, SC – ECPI University has teamed up with the Summerville Seventh Day Adventist Church to offer complimentary computer classes.The classes are held from 4-6 pm on Sunday evenings in the month March. CIS Department Head Amy Whicker, IT Director Joshua Flaherty and student Roberto Sanchez are leading the four-week program intended to help the congregation tackle both hardware and software issues that home users may encounter.  Equipment is provided by ECPI University and Summerville SDA.

“The students have been extremely enthusiastic and have enjoyed the series so far,” says Joshua Flaherty. “They ask very good questions and want to further their education even beyond our class material.  The ECPI University Networking Club may be able to continue these courses beyond the month of March, if interest continues.”
