Virginia Beach, VA – ECPI University is pleased to announce the appointment of Marcelo Parravicini as Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Parravicini brings to ECPI University more than 15 years of traditional and interactive marketing experience and has held executive and senior marketing positions in both the education and pharmaceutical industries.
As a business leader in education, Mr. Parravicini has been a driving force behind the successful launch and enrollment growth of accelerated degree program offerings, including online, at a number of institutions. At one of these institutions, Mr. Parravicini spearheaded a recruiting strategy that resulted in student enrollment growth, while realizing high student retention and graduation rates. During his tenure at this institution, he helped to stabilize, rebuild and grow the enterprise in various capacities, while spearheading and participating in the formulation of operational improvement strategies that directly impacted institutional effectiveness.
In his spare time, Mr. Parravicini volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and supports various philanthropic organizations.
Mr. Parravicini holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is relocating to Virginia Beach from Philadelphia with his wife and two daughters.
