Virginia Beach, VA – In a targeted response to the acute workforce shortages in the Tech and Nursing sectors throughout the Southeast, ECPI University will hold a comprehensive Open House on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This strategic event is designed to encourage a diverse set of potential students - including first-generation college students, career switchers, active-duty military personnel, and recent veterans - to explore and consider a future in the high-demand fields of technology and healthcare. Since its establishment in 1966, ECPI University has remained committed to bridging the workforce gap by providing academic programs closely aligned with industry needs.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, from 2021 to 2031 the overall employment for healthcare occupations is projected to grow 13%, and computer and information technology jobs are expected to grow 15%.
