Engineering Technology Master’s Robotics and Autonomous Systems Concentration Degree Overview

The Master of Science in Engineering Technology (MSET) with a Robotics and Autonomous Systems concentration focuses on the development of robotic applications and the use of tools and techniques to automate processes. It is intended for those who want to understand how automated technologies function in practice.

The program covers robot operating systems, autonomous vehicles, and AI and machine learning. Students develop and test software, work with sensors and control components, and apply these tools to support perception, localization, mapping, and control.

With ECPI University’s year-round accelerated schedule, students can complete the program and earn their master’s degree in as little as 13 months.

Knowledge and Skills

Graduates develop capability in the following areas:

  • Robotic Application Development:
Develop and implement robotic applications, including programming and testing how they perform.
  • Process Automation:
Apply tools and techniques to automate processes and improve how tasks are carried out.
  • Software and System Integration:
Develop and test software while working with sensors and actuators that support system operation.
  • Autonomous Systems:
Work with AI-driven technologies that allow systems to sense their environment, make decisions, and control movement.
