Course Description: This lab course reinforces advanced cybersecurity skills through immersive, hands-on practice aligned with the CompTIA Security+ certification domains. Students apply knowledge of network security, access control, risk management, and incident response in simulated environments that mirror real-world challenges. Emphasis is placed on using AI-enabled tools to identify vulnerabilities, analyze system behavior, and strengthen defensive strategies against evolving threats. By working directly with industry-standard technologies, students gain practical experience in configuring security controls, mitigating risks, and applying AI-augmented methods to enhance efficiency and accuracy. This lab prepares students to confidently demonstrate Security+ competencies while building the applied skills employers seek in cybersecurity professionals.
