Course Description: This course introduces the students to the care of individuals and families from conception through the childbearing years. Care of the well child and common disorders related to the care of sick children are also included. Nutritional needs for these clients are addressed. Students will also begin to identify specific hazards that may impact client care and communicate them to the interdisciplinary team.
