Course Description: This course introduces students to the core functions of a Security Operations Center (SOC), including threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring. Students will explore security operations workflows, emerging cybersecurity threats, and the role of AI and automation in modern security practices. The course emphasizes analytical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork within SOC environments. Through hands-on exercises and simulations, students will develop the foundational skills needed to support cybersecurity operations in a variety of settings.
