Course Description: In this course students are exposed to a variety of standards for electronic health records, such as structure, terminology, documentation, and reporting. Students will understand the norms for communication, storage, and representation of health care data. The students will understand the use of data and statistical algorithms to identify trends and provide better outcomes based on historical data.
