Course Description: Designed for culinary students seeking to expand their global palate, this course offers hands-on experience in preparing and serving dishes from diverse world cuisines. Students explore how geography, culture, history, and local ingredients shape distinctive flavor profiles and culinary traditions. Through daily menu execution, guided tastings, and critical discussions, students engage with authentic cooking techniques, practice accurate use of international culinary terminology, and work with regional ingredients. Students will build foundational skills in analyzing global cuisines and preparing regionally authentic dishes using appropriate ingredients, terminology, and techniques.
