Welcome to ECPI University’s College of Technology. Here, we offer you the opportunity to use your hands and your mind. We take a “learn-by-doing” approach to education that utilizes technology and simulation software to create real world experiences right in the classroom. We know that post-graduate success is built upon a platform of preparation and it begins the moment you step on campus.
Curriculum for the Real World
ECPI University faculty members are dedicated to providing you with curriculum that is relevant to today’s work environment. Program directors and faculty members meet with technology professionals on a regular basis to ensure that our programs continue to meet the needs of employers.
Moreover, classes are led by faculty members who have worked extensively in the fields in which they now teach. Combine that with classrooms furnished with industry-standard equipment and you can really roll up your sleeves and learn in a truly practical environment.
Accelerated Education
The sooner you finish your degree, the sooner you can begin collecting a professional’s paycheck. At ECPI University, we offer a year-round schedule that allows you the opportunity to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in 2.5 years or their Associates Degree in 1.5 years.
Help When You Need It
Student support services are essential to success. At ECPI University, classes are small so there’s plenty of time to ask questions and faculty members are always available to provide additional help before and after class. In the College of Technology, math plays a big role. For those who might get stumped on occasion, we provide free one-on-one tutoring at the Math Assistance Center, known by many on campus as the MAC.
Externships
Before you graduate, you’ll get a taste of the real world. ECPI University has forged strong relationships with major technology employers that offer externships that allow you to reinforce what you’ve learned and can help prepare for your first job.
Certifications
In a competitive job market, certifications are an excellent way to stand out among the competition. That’s why ECPI University works closely with students to help them gain as many industry-standard certifications as possible. We provide preparation assistance and you can take the tests right on campus. What’s more, we offer these tests at dramatic discounts, just $15 compared to the hundreds of dollars others pay to take the same test.
Career Services
Career services begin at orientation. You begin learning how to write a resume and cover letter, how to conduct yourself in an interview, and how to develop a job search strategy. When graduation draws near and its time to put that hard work into practice, career advisors are always available to coach you and help hone your skills so you can put your best foot forward.
